Foxconn: Apple findet keine Probleme in »iPod City«
Nach Berichten von China TechNews und China CSR hat Apples Lieferant Foxconn zugegeben, von seinen Mitarbeitern bis zu 80 Überstunden im Monat zu verlangen. Nach chinesischen Arbeitsgesetzen seien nur 36 Überstunden pro Monat erlaubt, so die Meldungen. Ein Foxconn-Sprecher wies die Beschuldigung zurück mit der Bemerkung, die Medien hätten Foxconns »komplizierte Tarifstruktur missverstanden«, das Unternehmen habe die Arbeiter nach den »Minimalstandards« der Region Shenzhen bezahlt.
Weiterhin erklärte der Foxconn-Sprecher, dass Apple ein Team zur Überprüfung der Vorwürfe nach »iPod City« gesandt habe. Es habe jedoch »keine Probleme bei Foxconn gefunden«.
