- 19:30 Smartmoney: Apple wird mit seinem Quartalsbericht am Mittowch abend »die Wall Street blenden« und die eigenen Voraussagen von 4,5 bis 4,6 Milliarden Dollar deutlich übertreffen, dank des »robusten« Bedarfs an Macs, Notebooks und iPods.
- 18:20 iPodFun: Wikipedia auf dem iPod, ohne Linux - ein Script bringt interessierende Seiten deutlich bequemer auf den Soundzwerg. Allerdings wird das Terminal benötigt.
- 18:15 Newsweek: kurz vor dem fünften Geburtstag des iPod am 23. Oktober bringt Newsweek ein Interview mit Steve Jobs über das Design des iPod, seinen »Cool-Faktor« und seinen Einfluss darauf, wie wir Musik hören.

- 11:45 Daily Princetonian: 45 Prozent der an der Princeton University gekauften Computer sind Macs, gibt die Uni-Website bekannt. 2003 waren es noch 15 Prozent, 2004 dann 25 und 2005 38 Prozent. Auch relativ viele Lehrende seien zu Macs geswitcht.
