Remember eWorld? [upd.]
An mir ist es komplett vorbeigegangen, aber für Thomas Reuting und viele andere war es die allererste, schüchterne Erfahrung mit dem aufregenden neuen Medium Internet: Apples eWorld, vorgestellt 1994, eingestellt 1996. Gegen CompuServe, AOL und MSN hatte der schnuckelige Online-Dienst keine Chance. Eine kurze, aber intensive Liebe…
Die trauernden eWorld-Lover sammeln sich wieder: unter remember eWorld findet sich eine liebevoll gemacht Simulation, mit Marktplatz, Nachrichtenkiosk, Kunst- und Freizeitpark usw. »eWorld ist Geschichte, aber es wird immer in unseren Herzen und Erinnerungen bleiben.
