17:25 Uhr Forbes: wieder neue Gerüchte zum Exklusiv-Anbieter für das iPhone in Großbritannien: O2 soll endgültig mit Apple abgeschlossen haben; die Verkäufe sollen »in Kürze« beginnen. Vodafone galt bisher als aussichtsreichster Kandidat. Sich widersprechende Berichte über angebliche Verhandlungserfolge mit Apple gehören offenbar inzwischen zum täglichen Brot der Carrier-Marketingabteilungen.
17:15 Uhr USA Today: von 200 befragen iPhone-Käufern sind 90 Prozent extrem oder sehr zufrieden, so das Ergebnis einer Umfrage der Marktforscher von Interpret in Santa Monica. 51 Prozent wechselten wegen des iPhones zu AT&T, für 40 Prozent ist das iPhone auch der erste iPod, 30 Prozent nutzen zum ersten Mal überhaupt ein Apple-Gerät.
