Google schickt »Android« ins Rennen
Morgen wird das erste Android-Smart Phone von T-Mobile, Google und HTC vorgestellt - T-Online hat heute die Presse dazu eingeladen. Das Video zeigt - in relativ schlechter Qualität - vorab den Browser und das Interface von »Dream«, das ein ausklappbares Keyboard, einen Touch-Screen sowie einen Bewegungssensor haben wird:
Der Preis von 199 Dollar zielt offenbar auf das iPhone - Google bewirbt die Offenheit seiner Android-Plattform im Gegensatz zu Apples geschlossenem System. Es wird einen Android-Markt geben, ähnlich Apples App Store, der allerdings weder eine Genehmigungsprozedur noch Kauf-Programme kennt. Erst später soll es auch bezahlte Anwendungen geben.
