Wired-Verlag bereitet Magazine auf das Apple-Tablet vor (Video)
Der internationale Verlag Condé Nast, der neben vielen anderen auch die Titel Wired, Vogue, Ars Technica oder Vanity Fair herausgibt, bereitet bereits Ausgaben seiner Publikationen für das Apple Tablet vor. Dieses Video stammt von einer Promotion-Veranstaltung von Wired in New York und zeigt speziell für das Tablet aufbereitete Artikel, Bilder und animierte Grafiken (sowie einen gruseligen Soundtrack):
Condé Nast schwört, dass der Verlag keine konkreten Kenntnisse über das »iTablet« hat, derartige Geräte aber von Apple und anderen Herstellern erwartet. Condé Nast-CEO Chuck Townsend behauptet, dass der Verlag Apple seine Pläne mitgeteilt hat - Apple weigere sich aber, zu bestätigen, dass man überhaupt an einem Tablet arbeitet: »Sie reden mit niemandem öffentlich darüber«, so Townsend.
Bereits seit dem Sommer gibt es Gerüchte zu Content-Verhandlungen zwischen Apple und Verlagen sowie der Musik- und Unterhaltungindustrie. Die Software für die Wired-Demo soll von Adobe stammen [mehr bei All Things D].
