22:00 Uhr Google: Google hat heute offíziell sein erstes »Superphone« Nexus One vorgestellt: es besitzt einen 800x480 Pixel-Screen, eine 5 Megapixel-Kamera mit Blitz und wird von dem 1 GHz-Qualcomm-Prozessor Snapdragon angetrieben. Das Nexus kostet 529 Dollar ohne Vertrag oder 179 Dollar mit einem Zweijahresvertrag bei T-Mobile USA.
17:45 Uhr Quattro Wireless: das Gerücht von heute morgen stimmte: wie Quattro Wireless soeben bestätigt, wurde die Mobil-Werbefirma von Apple für 275 Mio. Dollar übernommen. Der bisherige Quattro-CEO Andy Miller wird Apple-VP of Mobile Advertising. Googles 750 Mio. Dollar-Kauf von AdMob muss hingegen noch von der Federal Trade Commission abgesegnet werden.
