19:15 Uhr IDC: gegenüber dem Vorjahr stiegen Apples iPhone-Verkäufe 2009 um 81,9 Prozent, weit über das Gesamtwachstum der Smartphone-Industrie von 15 Prozent. Apple erreicht mit einem weltweiten Marktanteil von 14,4 Prozent einen dritten Platz hinter Nokia und R.I.M.:
17:00 Uhr Adobe: Adobes Cheftechniker Kevin Lynch reagiert auf Steve Jobs’ Vorwürfe und versichert, dass Flash nicht mit bekannten Fehlern ausgeliefert wird. Man untersuche allerdings Berichte über Abstürze bei Flash Player 10. Flash Player 10.1 auf dem Mac werde durch die Benutzung von Core Animation möglicherweise schneller sein als unter Windows (danke, Karl!)
12:30 Uhr Apple: der App Store kann nun auch über den Browser vorbesichtigt werden: falls iTunes nicht installiert ist, wird - ähnlich wie schon bei der Musik - der App Store bzw. die App (Beispiellink) mit Beschreibungstext, Screenshots und Bewertungen in den Browser geladen. Zum Herunterladen der Apps ist nach wie vor iTunes notwendig.
